Send an emailWhat to include
To help you quickly and precisely, please include the following when you get in touch:
- iPhone model (for example iPhone 15 Pro)
- iOS version (Settings → General → About)
- SpeedWatch version (at the bottom of the settings screen in the app)
- What you expected to happen versus what actually happened
- Optional: a screenshot or screen recording showing the problem
Live Activities are not working
Live Activities show your speed on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. If that is not working, run through these steps:
- Check iOS settings: go to Settings → SpeedWatch → Live Activities and make sure it is enabled.
- Dynamic Island: some iPhone models do not have a Dynamic Island. On those models the activity appears on the Lock Screen only.
- Low Power Mode: while Low Power Mode is on, Live Activities may update less frequently than usual. Turn it off for best results.
- Restart the app: close SpeedWatch completely and open it again.

GPS accuracy
GPS precision varies with your surroundings. That is normal behaviour and not specific to SpeedWatch.
What affects accuracy
- Tunnels, tall buildings and dense tree cover block the GPS signal.
- Bad weather can reduce signal quality.
- Your iPhone's GPS needs a moment to lock on after you start.
Check your settings
- Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services and make sure Location Services is on.
- Find SpeedWatch in the list and make sure While Using the App or Always is selected.
- After starting a trip, wait a few seconds so the GPS signal can settle.
Still seeing readings that do not match your expectation? Describe the situation (location, speed range, device model) in your support request so we can investigate properly.
